RVBusiness named the top ten RVs of the year. Curious to know the list of the very best RVs of the year?
Here you go.
- Alliance Paradigm
- Dutchmen Yukon 400RL
- Fleetwood Discovery LXE 25th Anniversary Edition 36HQ
- Forest River River Ranch by Palomino
- Forest River Ibex 20BHS
- Grand Design Solitude 346FLS
- Jayco Jay Feather Micro
- Keystone Arcadia
- Newmar Canyon Star 3719
- Winnebago Hike
Looking at the list, there are a few models that are familiar to me. The Newmar Canyon Star, the Fleetwood Discovery and the Grand Design Solitude.
The Alliance Paradigm? I do not follow the fifth wheel market very closely and I had never heard of this product. There is a good reason for that mind you. They only just started building fifth wheels last year. They have delivered only a few hundred units to the market which is why I haven’t seen one yet. You can find out more about the Alliance RV story here.
The Dutchmen Yukon is another fifth wheel that I have never seen. They are a division of Keystone RV of which Thor is the parent company. I am not a big fan of Thor products. Perhaps the Yukon is cut differently from other Thor products.
Forest River makes dozens of trailers and fifth wheels. I guess the Ibex and River Ranch are similar to those other models.
The Keystone Arcadia? Couldn’t find it on the Keystone website.
And then the Winnebago Hike. Another little travel trailer.
All in all, not that impressive a list. A few fifth wheels and some tiny travel trailers. Only two class A models, the Canyon Star and the Discovery. The Canyon Star is fine for what it is but the Fleetwood? The only Class A diesel to make this top ten list?
